I engage with and wish to spread the word about New Animism and the Vegetal Turn. My research, writing and teaching are devoted to exploring animist stories, ceremonies and relations in past and present cultures, and to delving into respectful and reciprocal human-plant relations as acts of resistance, ecology and care. I organize courses and workshops, present talks, and take parts to international conferences, journals and networks. Online Courses
In collaboration with the School of Religious Studies of CAMNES, I realized the online recorded course Mythology and Anthropology of Plants: A Comparative Journey into Ancient and Contemporary Religious Cultures. This ten-lesson course offers a cross-cultural and inter-disciplinary journey into plant-human relations in ancient and contemporary mythologies, religions and literatures.
